Can you fix broken ceramics?

We've been around for 30 odd years so we know what we're doing.
Each ceramic and pottery make has its own peculiarities: Lladro flowers are originally made by rolling wet ceramic between two fingers, Capodimonte is hand painted as is Royal Minton, Doulton, Albert, Worcester, and Grimwades porcelain.

There is no “one size fits all” approach to painting restoration, as each work has to be carefully examined to determine which process and techniques will be best suited for the piece.

Fixing Aucklanders’ precious items is a passion for the team at Wrightway Studios in Glen Innes.
Wrightway Studios is a Tāmaki institution. For more than 25 years, the art restorers operated out of a factory in Morrin Rd, Panmure before moving to a more modern building on Taniwha St, Glen Innes five years ago.
Studio manager Corene Higgins says the company’s talented team can fix paintings, prints, watches, ceramics, photos, model boats and dolls, as part of Wrightway’s Auckland Doll’s Hospital.
