Furniture Restoration

Cane and Wicker
Torn or saggy cane on your favourite wicker chair is easily fixed at Wrightway Studios. We have a cane expert on our staff who may be able to repair the existing cane or can fully replace the seating with the same material. We use authentic seagrass, rattan and pre twisted rush. Some of the repairs include cane dolls prams, chairs, footstools, and bassinets.

Trunks and Boxes
If you have inherited your grandparents Victorian writing slope, tea caddy or your Mum's mid century jewellery box and it has hardware issues or is worse for wear we can help. We can make new locks, hinges and keys, fix broken music boxes and re-line with new leather.

Due to the diverse creative skill set of our team we can restore table and floor lamps, chandeliers and candelabras. Antique spelter or ceramic figurines with broken limbs are carefully repaired before being rewired, ready for use in your home. We are experts in restoring Art deco and mid century lamps ensuring the restoration is perfect for the era before rewiring.
